Hospital to host health care reform talk
Nov. 14, 2013 at 5:14 a.m.
Half of what you have heard about health care reform is almost undoubtedly inaccurate, and you've probably heard nothing about over half of the law itself.
Citizens Medical Center invites the public to a free presentation at 6 p.m. Dec. 4 "Obamacare and You: The Facts and What Health Care Reform Means For You." Come get clear, factual information about what you should expect from the Affordable Care Act in 2014 and beyond from Sarah F. Fontenot, BSN, JD. Fontenot, both a nurse and a lawyer, will use the knowledge she's gained from her legal and medical background to provide a better understanding of the future of private health care, Fontenot has been an adjunct faculty member at Trinity University (since 1999) where she addresses many medico-legal issues. She frequently teaches courses for physicians, nurses, physician/ healthcare executives and the public. Her previous public presentations here in Victoria ("What's Up, Doc?" and "How to Control Your Own Health Care") have been very well-received.
The presentation will be held in the Citizens Medical Center central classroom, 2701 Hospital Drive. Seating is limited, so call 361-572-5064 today to reserve your seat for this timely presentation.
