High school students graduating in December are eligible to apply for Victoria College's Midterm Graduation Scholarship. Completed scholarship applications should be submitted no later than Dec. 6.

Scholarship applications may be picked up from the high school counselor's office or from the Pre-College Programs and Recruitment Office in VC's Student Services Building, Room 109, during regular business hours. Applications are also available via the Victoria College website at VictoriaCollege.edu/OutsideScholarships.

In addition to a completed scholarship application, students should submit an unofficial copy of their high school transcript along with a letter of verification from their high school counselor confirming the expected graduation date. An official application should also be submitted along with applicable test scores from tests such as the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills, SAT, ACT or Texas Success Initiative.

"Our goal for this scholarship is to encourage midterm graduates to apply at VC and get started on their college education right away," said Melissa Robinson, director of Pre-College Programs and Recruitment. "Even graduates who may not have a clear picture of where they want to go in the future should start at VC so we can help them identify their educational and career goals according to their strengths and interests."

For more information about the scholarship, call the college's Pre-College Programs and Recruitment Office at 361-485-6823. Completed applications should be sent to Victoria College, attention Melissa Robinson, 2200 E. Red River St., Victoria, Texas 77901.
