Nov. 21, 2013 at 5:21 a.m.

The 11th annual Night In Old Pearl City celebration will be Saturday at Turner Hall, about 6 miles west of Yoakum at the intersection of State Highway 111 and Farm-to-Market Road 951.

The event, hosted by Modern Dance Club No. 90/Pearl City Dance Club, will feature a dinner and dance with The Almost Patsy Cline Band, according to a news release from the dance club.

Door prizes and a silent auction will round out the evening's festivities.

During the day, activities include tours of the Yoakum Heritage Museum from 1 to 4 p.m., a 3 p.m. Polka Worship Service at Holy Cross Lutheran Church and a German Christmas Market at the old Hochheim Prairie School from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Doors at Turner Hall will open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets to the dinner and dance are $25.

Proceeds from this year's event benefit the Yoakum Community Hospital Foundation's building project.
