UTSA quarterback earns C-USA honor

IRVING - Texas-San Antonio quarterback Eric Soza was named Conference USA Co-Offensive Player of the Week.
Soza, a senior from Beeville, matched a career-high with 30 completions for 274 yards and scored a pair of second-half rushing touchdowns in the Roadrunners' 21-13 win at North Texas on Saturday.
Soza helped UTSA convert a school-record 14 times on third down and connected with 11 different receivers as the Roadrunners won their fourth straight game to stay in contention for the West Division title.
