Volunteers are needed through Christmas Eve.
Her chubby cheeks puffed with joy as she held tight to a single turkey leg.
There wasn't any meat left on the poultry carcass, but that didn't stop 8-year-old Haylie Ramirez from enjoying every last bit of it.
"I can't believe I ate all that chicken," she said, a look of surprise present inside her walnut-shaped eyes as she showed off the conquest to anyone who would look her way.
Haylie was in food heaven.
More than 100 volunteers helped pass out 233 meals at the Salvation Army's annual Thanksgiving inner.
"Everyone doesn't have the means to have dinner," Capt. Laura Martin said. "It's just about making sure everyone has a blessed day."
