Rockport hold hospitality training

Twelve local participants completed the new Rockport-Fulton Hospitality Program making them the first graduating class of the program. At the same time, six instructors received their certifications to teach the program. The program is part of the Texas Friendly Hospitality Program from Texas A&M University's AgriLife Extension. This initiative of the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce is a result of an eight-year effort to bring hospitality training to the community and workforce of Aransas County.

The next class at the chamber of commerce is Feb. 26 from 9 a.m. to noon. There is a minimal cost for the class.
