A 54-year-old Victoria man was arrested Friday night on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after a crash that sent another man to the hospital.
The name of the man arrested was not available, but he was taken into custody at the crash site - the intersection of North Navarro Street and Zac Lentz Parkway about 10:25 p.m.
Sgt. Chris Guerra of the Victoria Police Department said driver Carlos Vasquez, 43, was taken to Citizens Medical Center. His condition was not available.
Vasquez was northbound in the 7100 block of North Navarro Street and was stopped at the intersection, Guerra said.
The other driver was in a white Chevrolet Z71 and did not stop, crashing into Vasquez's 2002 Chevrolet Silverado.
Police officers administered a roadside sobriety test on the 54-year-old driver, who was later handcuffed.
