Early vote tally reaches 147 in Victoria County

After two days, 147 Victoria County residents have voted early in the Nov. 5 constitutional amendment election.
On Tuesday, 88 people voted in person.
So far, 1,643 people have voted, including 1,496 who have requested mailed ballots, according to a news release from the Victoria County Election Administrator's office.
Early voting in person continues from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Nov. 1 at the Dr. Pattie Dodson Public Health Center in Classroom A, 2805 N. Navarro St. Extended voting will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Nov. 1.
In Victoria County, only the nine proposed constitutional amendments are on the ballot.
All voters must show a valid photo ID and their voter registration card to vote.
