Columnist has wrong perspective on Hispanics

Oct. 22, 2013 at 5:22 a.m.

Editor, the Advocate:

I find it ludicrous for Jason Stanford (Democratic consultant who writes columns for the Austin American-Statesman and MSNBC) to be given one-fourth of a page in the Oct. 15 edition of the Victoria Advocate to explain "why Republican Hispanic outreach efforts will fail."

I can put it much more succinctly without all the Democratic propaganda fluff: "The government that robs Peter to pay Paul - and all his entitlements - can always depend on Paul's support." - George Bernard Shaw

And that is not confined to Hispanic supporters. The Democratic party and the current president have worked tirelessly to divide the American people into subgroups for the purpose of finding every "Paul" they can.

I just hope they don't kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.
