Community can learn about colleges and universities at College Night
High school students and their parents will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 25 Texas colleges and universities during College Night 2013.
The free event will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Victoria College Sports Center.
"This annual event allows high school students, transfer students, and their parents to learn more about institutions of higher learning without having to travel to other campuses," said Tisha Sternadel, marketing and publications coordinator. "College and university representatives will be on hand to answer questions and share information such as financial aid, campus life, courses of study, and extracurricular activities."
Participating colleges and universities include Blinn College, East Texas BaptistUniversity, Houston Baptist University, Howard Payne University, Jarvis Christian College, Navarro College, Our Lady of the Lake University, Sam Houston State University, Santa Fe University of Art & Design, Schreiner University, Southwestern, St. Mary's University, Stephen F. Austin State University, Tarleton State University, Texas A&M University-College Station, Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Army ROTC, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Texas State Technical College, Texas State University, Texas Tech University, Universal Technical Institute, University of Houston, University of Houston-Victoria School of Arts & Sciences, UHV School of Education, UHV School of Nursing, University of Mary-Hardin Baylor, University of North Texas, University of Texas-Arlington, University of Texas-Austin, University of Texas-Permian Basin, University of Texas-San Antonio and Victoria Area Alumnae Panhellenic Association.
