The law

Section 21.15 of the Texas Penal Code says that it is an offense if a person photographs or videotapes another without the other person's consent and with intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person.

Buyers beware.

A woman at the Ross Dress for Less in Victoria said a stocky man in his mid-20s may have been taking photos up her dress.

The woman said she was shopping when she felt something graze her leg. When she looked down, a man was on the floor with an iPhone in his hand. When confronted, the man took off running, she said.

Victoria Police Department officers were unable to get a clear image of the man off the store's surveillance camera, said officer Jason Sager, but he said the man was wearing a dark gray shirt with a graphic on the front of it and a pair of white and blue plaid shorts.
