Two men killed in a two-truck collision in Yorktown Monday afternoon have been identified.
They are Dominic Alvarez, 28, and Aaron Garcia, 23, both of Mathis. They were in a 2008 Ford F450, said Sgt. Richard Ramirez, with the Yorktown Police Department.
The driver of the second truck Michael Windberg, 33, of Goliad, was flown by helicopter to University Hospital in San Antonio, Ramirez said. The truck was owned by Jet Maintenance in Victoria.
Windberg was listed in stable condition as of noon Tuesday, a hospital spokesman said.
The collision occurred at the intersection of state Highway 119 north and West 10th Street.
