First English Lutheran Church is celebrating its 12th Heritage Day Sept. 22 at the church.
Hundreds are expected to gather for this exciting anniversary event, which includes a cakewalk, live and silent auction, country store and many events for children.
Some of the items to be auctioned off include jewelry from Torin Bales, gift baskets, a guided fishing trip, Pat Mercer photography packages, handmade quilts and more.
Kindred Spirits is providing the live entertainment, and a barbecue lunch will be served for $8, available for dine-in or drive-thru.
The community is invited to attend the 10 a.m. worship service at the church, given by the Rev. Jim Pearson. Heritage Day will follow in the activity center at 11 a.m.
Proceeds from this year's event will benefit Golden Crescent CASA, Victoria Young Life, Future Sight (The Bartimaeus Foundation), Boys & Girls Club of Victoria and the First English Lutheran Church Heritage Day Community Assistance Fund.
The event is open to the public, and all are invited to attend.
