Hispanic Q&A - Calhoun County

By Victoria Advocate

Do you believe Hispanics are still being discriminated against? Why or why not?

Discrimination still exists and not because people try to discriminate. They are just ignorant to the culture. Not every family drinks and fights, for example. We are nondrinkers at my house. It's learned from one generation to the next, but it's not as bad as it used to be. We just need awareness.
