Rain chances hanging around Wednesday

Victoria has received 2.65 inches of rain in September, above normal (2.52 inches) for the month, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a 30 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms Wednesday, mainly after 1 p.m.

Partly sunny with a high near 92. Northeast wind 6 to 14 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.

A 20 percent chance of isolated showers Wednesday night after 3 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 75. East wind 6 to 9 mph.
