Each time the Warriors leave town for a football game, members of the West Warrior Football Booster Club are there to bid them farewell.
Club President Cindy Neuvar, 51, said although some of the Victoria West High School football players tend to shy away from the attention, she knows they appreciate it.
"Our main thing is to support the spirit of the team," Neuvar said. "After we finish saying goodbye, we all get in our cars and go out to the game."
As of Thursday, the booster club raised about $25,000 through spirit items sales at the football games, said treasurer Travis Tadlock.
"The majority of our funds come from spirit items, and our members also go out and sell ads for our team," Neuvar said. "This year, we helped the school purchase a new end zone camera for the coaches to use."
