Paula Hopkins was selected Professional of the Year in the area of religion/nursing by Strathmore's Who's Who Registry and Global Network for Executives and Professionals. Hopkins spent 27 years as a licensed vocational nurse. She is also a licensed wound specialist and has been a pastor for eight years. She serves as a full-time pastor at My Father's House Church of Cuero. She started Manifest Meal, a service that provides the elderly and shut-ins with meals.
Cynthia Narvaiz-Tynes was recently recognized as Employee of the Year for Child Protective Services at the Texas Council for Child Welfare Board's annual awards ceremony in San Antonio. Narvaiz-Tynes is a Child Protective Services caseworker for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. She was nominated by the local Victoria County Child Welfare Board.
