Senior Police Officer Herschel Buck writes up a report on a two-car wreck at Houston Highway and Stoner Road.

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Houston Highway at Stoner Road on Monday afternoon.

Alison Kubena, 32, and Marshall Peck, also in his 30s, both of Hallettsville, were travelling west on Houston Highway in a black GMC Canyon when they struck a Chevrolet Colorado turning onto Stoner Road, driven by Merced Cano, 48, of Victoria, said Victoria Police Officer Herschel Buck.

Cano's vehicle rolled over into a ditch, but he was uninjured.

Kubena and Peck were transported to Citizens Medical Center for observation, Buck said.

Peck was treated and released, and Kubena was listed in stable condition, a hospital house supervisor said.

Cano received a citation for failing to yield right of way.
