Arrested

VICTORIA - A 26-year-old Victoria man by officers Sunday on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury to a family member.

VICTORIA - A 29-year-old Victoria woman by officers Monday on suspicion of obstructing a highway passageway.

VICTORIA - A 25-year-old Victoria man by troopers Monday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance less than 28 grams.

VICTORIA - Kalon Jack Domingues, 22, of Lake Jackson, by deputies Monday on a warrant charging him with violation of probation in a forgery of financial instrument case.

VICTORIA - Andreas Jameel Foster, 23, of Victoria, by deputies Monday on a warrant charging him with violation of probation in an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon case.

Assaulted

VICTORIA - A 31-year-old Victoria woman in the 600 block of North Moody Street on Saturday.

VICTORIA - A 35-year-old Victoria woman at a home in the 1400 block of Warren Avenue on Sunday.

Robbed

VICTORIA - A 45-year-old Victoria woman was injured with a deadly weapon during a robbery at a department store in the 5200 block of North Navarro Street on Monday.

Burglarized

VICTORIA - A home in the 3100 block of North Vine Street on Friday. A grinder valued at $250, two torque wrenches valued at $60 each and a saw valued at $100 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 3600 block of Cedar Street on Thursday. Miscellaneous jewelry valued at $100, a tablet valued at $500 and $20 in U.S. coins were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 3300 block of Cherry Street on Thursday. No items were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 1900 block of East Guadalupe Street on Friday. A chain saw valued at $600, a straight trimmer valued at $300, a string trimmer valued at $400 and a chain saw valued at $200 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 100 block of Ridgewood Drive on Sunday. A wallet valued at $40, a key set to a Jeep Wrangler valued at $100, a debit card, three credit cards and a Texas driver's license valued at $2 were reported missing. A window and ceramic plate were also damaged. The damage was valued at $510.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 1900 block of Mimosa Avenue on Monday. Nothing reported missing.

Stolen

VICTORIA - An iPod touch and a Samsung Galaxy phone valued at $920 from a home in the 2100 block of Anaqua Avenue on Sunday.

VICTORIA - A tricycle valued at $700 from a medical office in the 500 block of East San Antonio Street on Friday.

Damaged

VICTORIA - A white 2008 Ford F-350 valued at $11,000 at a home in the 400 block of South Wheeler Street on Tuesday.

VICTORIA - A motorcycle fender valued at $500 at a home in the 2500 block of Kay Drive on Sunday.

Sentenced

VICTORIA - Raul Antonio Martinez, 34, of Victoria, to five years in state jail after he pleaded guilty Monday to indecency with a child by sexual contact. He was also sentenced to two years in prison after he also pleaded guilty to unlawful restraint of someone younger than 17 years of age Monday. The sentences will run concurrently.

VICTORIA - Derrick Devon Miller, 37, of Houston, to two years in prison after he pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with the intent to impair.

Indicted

Editor's Note: An indictment is not an indication of guilt. It is a finding by a grand jury that enough evidence exists to warrant a trial.

VICTORIA - A grand jury returned indictments on the following people Sept. 19:

Alexander William Lopez, 35, of Port Lavaca, on two charges of accident involving injury. He is charged with leaving the scene of an accident that injured two people without providing them his name, address or vehicle registration number Dec. 30.

Charles Brance Adams, 36, of Victoria, on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and theft of a firearm. He is charged with stealing a firearm and possessing it even though he was convicted of a felony in 2003 on Oct. 9.
