Fourth annual South Texas Commodity Symposium takes palace Oct. 2
The fourth annual South Texas Commodity Symposium takes place Wednesday inside the Conference Center at Robstown's RMB Fairgrounds, 213 Terry Shamsie Blvd.
For the second time, the event runs in conjunction with the Texas AgXchange Farm & Ranch Show, also at the fairgrounds.
Hosted by Texas Corn Producers, Texas Grain Sorghum Producers and the South Texas Cotton & Grain Association, the symposium includes a farm bill and legislative update, as well as updates regarding corn, sorghum and cotton commodities.
The event begins at 9 a.m. with coffee and donuts, while the speakers begin at 9:30 a.m. The symposium ends at 11:30 a.m., and attendees receive free lunch tickets to the AgXchange barbecue cook-off.
