Sentenced

VICTORIA - Stephanie Marie Welch, 33, of Cuero, to two years in state jail after her probation was revoked Sept. 17 in an August 2007 credit card or debit card abuse case.

VICTORIA - Jesse Torres Jr., 38, of Victoria, to 18 months in state jail after his probation was revoked Sept. 17 in an April 2012 possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram case.

VICTORIA - Jennifer Ann Olson, 28, of Houston, to 18 months in state jail after she pleaded guilty Sept. 18 to forgery of a financial instrument.

VICTORIA - Dusty Ray Allar, 31, of Yorktown, to five years probation and 80 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty Sept. 20 to assault of a public servant.

VICTORIA - Marco Antonio Ortiz, 18, of Victoria, to five years probation and 120 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty Sept. 18 to burglary of a habitation.

VICTORIA - Gabriel John Nolen, 22, of Victoria, to three years probation after he pleaded guilty Sept. 18 to possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram in a drug-free zone.

VICTORIA - Jose Aguero, 39, of Houston, to 10 years probation and 200 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty Sept. 18 to driving while intoxicated third or more offense.

VICTORIA - Jesse Sanchez Jr., 55, of Victoria, to 10 years probation and 120 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty Sept. 18 to driving while intoxicated third or more offense.

VICTORIA - Jason Michael James, 40, of Victoria, to two terms of five years in prison and two years in state jail after his sentences were amended Sept. 18 in a November 2011 possession of a controlled substance between 28 and 200 grams, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with the intent to impair and possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram charges, respectively. He was also sentenced to five years in prison each after his sentences were amended Sept. 18 in an April 2008 possession of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams, possession of a controlled substance between 28 and 200 grams and evading arrest or detention with a vehicle with prior conviction or serious bodily injury charges.

VICTORIA - Rick Matthew Diercks, 35, of Port Lavaca, to 20 months in state jail after his probation was revoked Sept. 18 in a March 2005 theft case.

VICTORIA - Dora Alice Zuniga, 26, of Beeville, to three years probation after her sentence was amended Sept. 18 in a May 2007 assault of a public servant case.

VICTORIA - Crystal Marie Flores, 27, of Victoria, to two years in state jail after her probation was revoked Sept. 18 in a June 2011 theft of property less than $1,500 with two or more previous convictions.

VICTORIA - Donnell Deshaun Dilworth Jr., 23, of Victoria, to two years in state jail after his probation was revoked Sept. 18 in a July 2009 burglary of a building case. He was also sentenced to 10 years in prison after his probation was revoked Sept. 18 in a December 2011 bail jumping and failure to appear felony case.

Indicted

VICTORIA - A grand jury returned indictments on the following people Sept. 19:

Daniel Alexander Denton, 22, of Austwell, on charges of online solicitation of a minor and sexual performance by a child. He is charged with texting a child younger than 14 in a sexually explicit manner Feb. 12 and taking a graphic picture of a child younger than 14 on Nov. 29, 2011.

Chelsea Nicole Montano, 28, of Victoria, on charges of aggravated assault and two counts of injury to a child. She is charged with choking and striking a family member's head against an unknown object Nov. 27. The family member was younger than 14, and Montano failed to protect and report the family member's injuries to law enforcement.

Trinidad Sanabria Jr., 33, of Victoria, on charges of aggravated assault and injury to a child. He is charged with choking and striking a family member's head against an unknown object Nov. 27. The family member was younger than 14.

Joaquin Daniel Quintero, 29, of Goliad, on a charge of evading arrest or detention with a previous conviction July 22.

Roman Mungia Jr., 40, of Victoria, on two indictments charging him with credit card abuse and debit card abuse. He is charged with using a woman's credit card July 16 and another woman's bank card Jan. 20.

Lezlie Renee Jackson, 49, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram, cocaine, July 23.

Irene Torrez, 26, of Victoria, on a charge of manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance less than 1 gram, cocaine, in a drug-free zone Feb. 26.

Joseph Steven Pena, 57, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram, heroin, in a drug-free zone July 2.

Rudolph Ortiz, 52, of Inez, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams, cocaine, April 7.

Michael Joseph Hilt, 34, of Edna, on a charge of theft of property less than $1,500 with two or more previous convictions. He is charged with stealing a woman's RV camper valued at less than $1,500 on Feb. 15.

Samuel Ortega Jr., 28, of Victoria, on a charge of burglary of a habitation. He is charged with stealing a paintball gun from a woman's home March 17.

Victor Paul Nichols, 57, of Meyersville, on charges of injury to a child and endangering a child. He is charged with striking a girl under 14 on July 7. He is also charged with striking and pushing a girl under 14 who was holding an infant and not taking the children to an emergency care provider July 7.

Marvin Doyle Ramsey, 24, of Quail Creek, on two counts of assault. He is charged with striking and applying pressure to the throat or neck of a family member May 16.

Vanessa Trevino, 19, of Edinburg, on charges of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and debit card abuse. She is charged with possessing less than five pieces of a woman's identifying information Nov. 29 and using that same woman's debit card Dec. 3.

Scott David Brand Jr., 24, of Showlow, Ariz., on charges of hindering the apprehension or prosecution of a known felon and possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram. He is charged with hiding a man who was charged with possession of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams July 15. Brand is also charged with possessing less than 1 gram of methamphetamine July 15.
