Volunteers needed for Lockhart Cemetery beautification day

Descendants of those buried in the Lockhart Cemetery, 1456 Lockhart Cemetery Road in Cuero, are being asked to volunteer at 8 a.m. April 26 to beautify their ancestors' cemetery.
Workers are asked to bring any of the following they are able to contribute: landscaping equipment and material, United States flags and plastic flowers. Scribes are also needed to identify the names and locations of those buried.
