How long have you been a fan of the show?

Since the first episode. I started reading the books just after the third one was released. It was interesting watching the books move from print to small screen.

Which do you like better, the books or the show?

That's a hard question to answer. As much as I love the books, the care and ingenuity that's been put into the show is just astonishing. I think I prefer the show in some ways (it makes the complex politics easier to follow) and the books in others (print is able to give information about the world and characters in more detail).

Who is your favorite character and family?

My favorite character is Lady Stoneheart, and I'd fly the Stark banner if I could.

What are you hoping to see in season four?

Lady Stoneheart. There are a lot of good moments of character - there's a scene between Tyrion and Tywin that I'm looking forward to - and a few deaths that I wasn't unhappy with. I'm trying to keep the spoilers at a minimum.

Do you have a favorite scene?

I think my single favorite moment from last season was when Daenerys first meets Daario Naharis. It was the way the actors played it mostly, knowing what happens next between them.

How long have you been a fan of the show?

Since day one. I watched the first episode not knowing what I was getting into, and boom, I was hooked.

Which do you like better, the books or the show?

I tried to read the books, but I always end up stopping because the show follows the story so well, and I didn't want to ruin it. I own the books. And I like reading the books afterward.

Who's your favorite character and family?

Tyrion Lannister because he's witty and kind of real about life. My favorite family is the Starks because they're from the North, and it seems like they're going to end up winning in the end.

What are you hoping to see in season four?

Joffrey's head. He's an (expletive deleted).

Do you have a favorite scene?

Favorite moment was when Daenerys traded the dragon for the army and then commanded it to breathe fire on the king of Yunkai. And then the Red Wedding was pretty shocking, too.

How long have you been a fan of the show?

Ever since I saw the first episode of season 1 on HBO. After watching the entire season, I began reading the books.

So which did you like better, the show or the books?

The books, of course. But it's close. I usually enjoy watching movies and shows for entertainment, but it was so hard not to get lost in these books.

Who is your favorite character and family?

I'm gonna say Jon Snow. He's very relatable with that giant chip on his shoulder. I guess I really just put all my hopes in him for Northern vengeance and a restoration of faith in Westeros' humanity. The Starks are my favorite family. You have to take pity on them. They didn't ask for any of this. Ned's nobility and loyalty ultimately led to the downfall and scattering of House Stark.

What are you hoping to see in season four?

Revenge. The betrayal of the North by House Frey and Roose Bolton during the Red Wedding.

Do you have a favorite scene?

The beheading of Ned Stark. We are so programmed to believe that in the protagonist's time of need, they will be rescued, and no harm will come. My jaw dropped. I remember I kept waiting for someone to ride up or shoot an arrow or something. Then the axe fell.

How long have you been a fan of the show?

I actually didn't start watching it until season three was about to start. Several friends kept saying how much we would like "Game of Thrones," so we binge-watched the first two seasons. Immediately hooked.

Which do you like better, the books or the show?

It's a dilemma for me now. I enjoy the show and get invested in it so much. I really, really, really wish I had read the books first now, but I enjoy the show so much that I don't want to ruin it now by reading the series.

Who is your favorite character and family?

I'm a Khaleesi fan. I find her character's transition from meek girl to fearless leader incredible. The actress is incredible. I wonder if the book brings the character through as strongly as the show has.

And I'm House Stark, too. What's left of it.

So what are you hoping to see in season four?

Winter. They keep saying it's coming; maybe it will be this year. I'm curious to see where Arya and the Hound end up, and Jon Snow also. I feel like there has to be more of the Stark family to come. More people.

Do you have a favorite scene?

When Daenerys hatched the dragons in the pyre, that just took my breath away. I was so into that scene. It was so beautiful. And it was crazy because as soon as that scene started, I knew that was probably what was going to happen, but it was just so magical.

That's my favorite. Of course, the Red Wedding - well, what else can be said about that? Good grief. I was one of those screaming women that were on the YouTube video reactions. I cried like a baby. That was hard to experience.
