UHV head coach Terry Puhl will hold open baseball tryouts May 31 at Riverside Stadium.

Tryouts are open to all unsigned players with eligibility remaining at the NAIA level, including incoming freshmen and junior-college transfers. Prospective players are recommended to apply for admission to UHV at uhv.edu.

Players are also recommended to go to the UHV athletic website at uhvjaguars.com and register with "PLAY NAIA."

Players trying out will have to sign a waiver, and those younger than 18 must have the waiver signed by their parents.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., and tryouts will start at 9 a.m.

Candidates should bring their own equipment.

Those wishing to try out are asked to email Puhl at puhlt@uhv.edu and may include statistics.
