Billo didn't have much trouble defeating his regional opponents, losing just one game in his first two matches against Brazos's Johnathan Farley (6-0, 6-0) and Jourdanton's Curt Harlan (6-1, 6-0). In the semifinal match, Billo defeated Ingram Tom Moore's Luis Chimal 6-1, 6-2 and capped off his impressive showing with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over San Antonio Randolph's Jeremy Fagan.

Billo will compete in the state tennis tournament beginning April 28 at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center in Austin.
