The winning dress has a black-and-red color combination with a romantic print and crescent hem. When Ashley tried this one on, she said to the camera, "Please, J.R., pick this one." J.R. is Ashley's longtime theater friend and date to this year's Victoria West High School prom.
The winning hairstyle is a beautiful twisted braid to keep Ashley Green's hair out of the way when she reaches the dance floor. The braid is known as the HD Special Beauty Bash by Hair Dimensions.

Ashley Green kept her lids as still as possible as Hair Dimensions makeup artist Amanda Cantu applied fake eyelashes.
"They were big," Green said. "I liked them, but they felt a little funny."
Her grandfather, Robert Pfeil, smiled as Cantu worked her magic.
"Getting prettier and prettier all the time," Pfeil said.
Green, a Victoria West High School senior, was voted this year's Prom Princess. As Prom Princess, Green won an all-expenses-paid prom package sponsored by area businesses and the Victoria Advocate.
Green, 20, has Down syndrome but is high-functioning.
Last semester, she was part of a Building Communities workforce preparation program through the La Villa Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, which she can use to obtain a job after graduating from high school in 2015.
Green is approaching the final stages of her Prom Princess package.
Choosing a makeup style is one of her final steps.
Last week, Victoria Advocate readers voted on their preferred hairstyle for Green.
The twisted braid look, also known as the HD Special Beauty Bash, beat out the rest.
"Ashley was talking to her friends, and they decided they needed to keep their hair up for dancing," said Varchia Green, Ashley's mother.
And her dress is a black, strapless gown with a red sash around her waist.
"I love it," Green said.
For her makeup, readers will get to choose from three looks.
"She liked the pink, so I tried to stay within the palette," Cantu said. "It was fun. She was really a pleasure to work with. She was very outgoing and pretty open to anything, but she just loves the color pink."
For the first look, Cantu used Urban Decay for her base, the lashes are Ardell natural demi wispies, and for her eye makeup, Cantu used the Naked2 Palette, also from Urban Decay, with the colors Booty Call, YDK and Busted.
The lip liner, also by Urban Decay, is called Rush, and the lipstick used was Wine Room by Wet 'n' Wild.
For the third look, Cantu used a lipstick, lip gloss and lip liner combination stick called Sweet by Mirabella and a blush called Pink Swoon by MAC Cosmetics.
The eye shadow for her final look was made up by the colors Pink Venus, Star Violet and Shroom by MAC Cosmetics.
"I've never seen her so happy," Green's mother said. "She's so excited."
