A man was taken to the hospital after a one-vehicle wreck on Farm-to-Market Road 444 in Inez on Tuesday afternoon. Colton Luhn, 22, of Inez, was traveling south on the farm road in a white 2006 Ford Ranger modified with handicapped controls when he veered across the oncoming lane at Acorn Loop for unknown reasons just after 2 p.m. said Department of Public Safety Trooper Stephen Gray. The truck hit the dirt and Luhn may have overcorrected causing the truck to turn sideways and then rolled several times before coming to rest upside down in some trees past a fence, Gray said. Luhn was able to crawl out of the truck on his own and was then taken to Citizens Medical Center. No citations were issued and the wreck is under investigation.

A 22-year-old Inez man was taken to the hospital Tuesday after rolling his vehicle on Farm-to-Market Road 444.

Colton Luhn was southbound on the farm road in a white 2006 Ford Ranger with modified handicapped controls when he veered across the road at Acorn Loop, said Trooper Stephen Gray with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

After crossing the road, the truck hit the dirt, and Luhn may have overcorrected, causing the truck to turn sideways and roll several times before coming to rest upside down, Gray said.

The wreck happened about 2 p.m.

Luhn was able to crawl out of the truck on his own, Grey said, and was taken to Citizens Medical Center.

He was treated and later released, said a hospital spokesperson.

No citations were issued, and DPS is investigating the wreck.
