Editor, the Advocate:
We would like to give thanks to all those who made our annual "Chill Out" at First United Methodist Church in Goliad a success.
Thanks to those of you who donated cash, cookies and door prizes; who made ice cream; and who volunteered your time and hard work.
We are especially grateful to Mike Arnold and his band for the live music, to Ray DeLeon and Grace Funeral Home for the tent and to our ice cream judges, Myra Schulze and John and Carol Zarbock.
A special thanks goes out to the following businesses: Coastal Bend Real Estate, Devereux Gardens, Dollar General, Tony Kutach at Eula's Florist, Eula Pfenninger at Mae's, Empresario Restaurant, Goliad Feed Co., Goliad Pharmacy, Gonzalez Insulation, Hanging Tree Restaurant, The Infinity Group, Lowes Market, Stacey Pena at New Image, Mary Flores at New Image, Sam's Club, Stripes and The Tiger Tote.
