UHV's offensive struggles continued in a 3-1 loss to Wayland Baptist on Monday at Riverside Stadium.

The Jaguars (3-6) combined for five runs in the three-game series but still managed to sweep Sunday's doubleheader.

UHV's lone run Monday came in the eighth inning when Dylan Blaha singled, stole second, went to third on a single by Ryan Suescun and scored on a wild pitch.

Blaha and Josh Boothe each had two of UHV's five hits against four Wayland Baptist (1-2) pitchers.

The Pioneers had eight hits against four UHV pitchers.
