Victoria County Republican Women's club hosts candidates forum

The Victoria County Republican Women will host a Republican primary candidate forum from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday.
The forum will feature local, state and federal candidates running for the party's nomination in the March 4 primary election.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask candidates questions, according to a news release from the Victoria County Republican Women's organization.
The event will be at The Club Westerner, 1005 W. Constitution St.
Randy Vivian will moderate the event.
Open seating is $15 per person and includes a meal. For sponsorship levels and reserved seating, contact the organization at VictoriaCountyRepublicanWomen@yahoo.com. Mike Pozzi will cater the meal.
"The Crossroads area is thriving. This forum will be a great opportunity for the public to come and listen to the candidates who will have the opportunity to set policy to keep our economy strong," state representative Geanie Morrison, who has attended the event for many years, said in the news release.
The candidates who have confirmed they will participate are Reid Reasor, U.S. Senate; Kevin Patrick Yeary, judge, Court of Criminal Appeals Place 3; Geanie Morrison, state representative District 30; Doug Norman, justice, 13th Court of Appeals District, Place 6; Juergen "Skipper" Koetter, district judge, 267th Judicial District ; Eli Garza, district judge, 377th Judicial District; Don Pozzi, county judge; Ben Zeller, county judge; Travis Ernst, judge, county court-at-law, No. 1; Dan Gilliam, judge, county court-at-law, No. 2; Cathy Stuart, district clerk; Heidi Easley, county clerk; Sean Kennedy, county treasurer; Lisa Hernandez, county treasurer; Kevin Janak, county commissioner Precinct 2; Clint Ives, county commissioner Precinct 4; John Miller, justice of the peace Precinct 4, and Jennifer Zeplin, justice of the peace Precinct 4.
