A man was hurt Saturday night after a two-vehicle crash.

Victoria Police Department are investigating the crash.

A man had to be removed by emergency responders from a damaged sports utility vehicle at the intersection of Convent and Navarro streets and taken to a hospital. His name was not immediately available.

Police said both vehicles were southbound on Navarro Street about 9:30 p.m. when an oil field service truck hauling a trailer was attempting to turn onto Convent Street.

A Chevrolet Tahoe was behind the truck and attempted to go around. The oil service truck then collided with the Tahoe, pushing both vehicles into a utility pole.
