VC sessions showcase adult learning skills training opportunities

Interested in becoming a nurse's aide, truck driver or welder?

Victoria College is holding two information and registration sessions in Gonzales and Port Lavaca for these training courses. The sessions are scheduled at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the VC Gonzales Center, Room 118, 424 E. Sarah DeWitt Drive in Gonzales, and 6 p.m. Thursday at the VC Calhoun County Center auditorium, 900 N. Virginia St. in Port Lavaca.

Students taking the Students Accelerating through Integrated Learning training may benefit from technical training combined with reading, writing and/or English language skills needed to enter a career such as nurse's aide, truck driver or welder. Students can earn their GED while learning a skill.
