Editor, the Advocate:
As the primary election fast approaches, I wanted to take this opportunity to show my vote of confidence for incumbent, Pamela Martin Hartgrove, your current Calhoun County district clerk.
I have worked in the legal field for nearly 30 years, 91/2 of which were with a law firm in Calhoun County. I currently work as a paralegal for a Victoria firm and will have been with it for 20 years in June. The entirety of my legal career, I have had the opportunity to work with Pam, first as a deputy under Ollie Harris Cuellar and then as the district clerk.
Pam's service to Calhoun County has always been at the forefront of her employment. She maintains a well-organized office and supervises some of the finest Calhoun County employees. Pam's ability to work well with the public, the judges and the legal community make for a positive experience in the Calhoun County district clerk's office.
I wholeheartedly endorse Pamela Martin Hartgrove for Calhoun County district clerk and encourage the voters of Calhoun County to keep a great district clerk in office.
