Shiner man arrested, accused of possessing drugs, police badge

A 23-year-old Shiner man was arrested early Thursday after police found suspected cocaine, a police badge and drug paraphernalia in his 2009 Jeep.
Shiner Police Officer Tierra Furrh stopped the Jeep at 4:40 a.m. Thursday after observing a traffic violation, according to a news release from the Shiner Police Department.
The driver, Kirby Lee, 23 of Shiner, was arrested on charges of driving while license invalid, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, cocaine and misrepresentation of a peace officer, according to the release. Lee was transported to the Lavaca County Jail.
Furrh was assisted at the scene by Moulton Police Officer Daniel Bravine, Lavaca County Sheriff's Office Deputy Mike Gibson and Shiner Police Chief Ronnie Leck.
