Two adults and two children were transported to Citizens Medical Center after a two vehicle wreck at the corner of Port Lavaca Highway and South Ben Jordan Street. Ricardo Garza was traveling east on the highway in his red 2001 Dodge Ram and was trying to turn left onto Ben Jordan. He failed to yield the right of way, police said. He collided with a brown 1995 Cadillac traveling west in the 2500 block of the highway. Broderick Barnes, 22, of Victoria, the driver of the Cadillac, will receive a citation because the children in the vehicle were not restrained in child safety devices, police said. Barnes and Adrianna Guerrero and two children, ages 5 and 6, passengers in the Cadillac, were transported to the hospital.
