TO VOLUNTEER

If interested in participating in the Watchdog program at Jackson Roosevelt Elementary, contact Kelly Blanco, school counselor at 361-552-3317.

Watchdogs is a nationally recognized program that promotes the presence of positive male role models in schools.

Jackson Roosevelt Elementary, part of the Calhoun County school district, adopted the program for a second year.

The campus services pre-K through fifth grade, and its Watchdogs can visit any grade level they desire.

Jackson Roosevelt Watchdogs help support the school by working one on one or in small groups with reading, flashcards, homework and physical education class.
