Roads need to be repaired, not patched
Editor, the Advocate:
I have spoken with Commissioner Kevin Janak of Precinct 2 about the very poor condition of our roads, Sunset and Carefree Drive. We pay our taxes just like other people, but our tax dollars are not going toward properly repairing these roads. The commissioner keeps having them do quick patch jobs. Why waste $1,700 on temporarily patching the roads? They need to be paved. The roads are simply just worn out. It seems to us that something finally needs to be done - and done right. Driving down our roads is tearing up our vehicles!
