No one injured in 2 vehicle wreck on FM 1686

Laurie Cantu, 34, of Inez, takes a photo of her damaged Chevrolet Avalanche after a two-vehicle wreck on Farm-to-Market Road 1686. Cantu was driving north on the farm road when a white Dodge Dakota, driven by Kendrick Dalton House, 20, veered into her lane. Cantu attempted to avoid the vehicle by steering into the grass shoulder. House  was given two citations, driving on the wrong side of the road and driving under the influence as a minor. No one was injured, Department of Public Safety Trooper Jeremiah collins said.

No one was injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Farm-to-Market Road 1686 on Monday night.

Around 8:45 p.m., a white Dodge Dakota, driven by Kendrick Dalton House, 20, of Victoria, was southbound on the farm road when he veered into oncoming traffic, said Department of Public Safety Trooper Jeremiah Collins.

The driver of a black Chevrolet Avalanche, Laurie Cantu, 33, of Inez, was traveling north. Cantu took evasive action onto the grassy shoulder, Collin said.

House was issued two citations - driving on the wrong side of the road and minor driving under the influence of alcohol, the trooper said.
