Wrecked

VICTORIA - A pedestrian was injured Sunday after being run over and pinned underneath a 2003 tan Lincoln Towncar on private property. The pedestrian, Helen Billo Wyscarver, 88, of Victoria, was transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro, where she remains in stable condition.

VICTORIA - One adult and two children were injured and transported to Citizens Medical Center on Friday after a vehicle failed to yield right of way and collided with their vehicle at the South Ben Jordan Street and Port Lavaca Drive intersection. The driver of the injured was cited for not having a child under 8 years old and/or less than 4 feet 9 inches in a safety seat, according to the crash report. All were treated and released.

Arrested

VICTORIA - A 20-year-old Victoria man by officers Monday on suspicion of possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone.

VICTORIA - Adrian Taylor Farias, 21, of Bloomington, by deputies Monday on a warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance.

VICTORIA - Manuel Robles Garcia Jr., 27, of Victoria, by deputies Monday on two Refugio County warrants charging him with violation of probation in a possession of marijuana case and a criminal mischief between $500 and $1,500 case.

VICTORIA - A 20-year-old Victoria man by officers Monday on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
