Warm weather expected back Friday

Crossroads residents can expect a high of 57 today with a light north, northeast wind.

Winds will shift southeast this afternoon, but won't get above 8 mph or so, said a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi. The temperature will drop to around 47 tonight, warming up Friday to a high of 76, he said.

Friday will also bring some breezy warm winds coming out of the south, he said.
