Dogs return to humane society after being fostered during freezing weather

Sabrina Resendez caresses a small silky terrier that was brought to the Calhoun County Humane Society facility Tuesday morning. The smaller dogs have a greater chance of being saved and adopted than larger dogs.

Melodie Griffith with the Calhoun County Humane Society hugs a dog being returned to the shelter after people from Calhoun County took home all the dogs from the facility to keep them warm and safe as a extreme cold wave hit the area.
