Two people taken to hospital after wreck (w/video)

Two people were taken to Citizens Medical Center about 5:20 p.m. Thursday after their vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer that failed to yield the right of way when making a left  turn off Business U.S. Highway 59 onto Zac Lentz Parkway, said Department of Public Safety Trooper Dustin Slovacek. Both the driver, Amy Murillo, 18, and the passenger, Jesus Trevino, 17, both of Vanderbilt, were still being evaluated Thursday evening in the emergency room. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Dale Barton Jr., 21, of Florida, was not injured. See video of the scene of the accident  at VictoriaAdvocate.com
