Fire trucks responding to grass fire get stuck in mud

Fire trucks responding to a grass fire off state Highway 35 and state Highway 172 near Carancahua Bay are stuck in the mud.
The fire call came in just before noon and trucks from Carancahua Community Fire Department, Edna Fire Department, Port Lavaca Fire Department, Lolita Fire Department, Ganado Volunteer Fire Department, Olivia-Port Alto Volunteer Fire Department and La Ward Volunteer Fire Department were called out to assist.
Information about which trucks are stuck is not available at the moment. As more information becomes available we'll update the story.
