Woman cut from pickup by EMT after crash near Guadalupe River bridge

A 2008 blue Nissan Titan is towed after rolling multiples times on Loop 463 near the Guadalupe River Bridge in Victoria. The driver, Roxanne Valdez, 24, of Placedo, was transported from the scene to DeTar Hospital  Navarro  in Victoria.

A woman was transported Sunday to DeTar Hospital Navarro after she was cut from her vehicle by emergency medical technicians.

Roxanne Valdez, 24, of Placedo, was driving on Loop 463 near the Guadalupe River bridge when her vehicle left the road, said Department of Public Safety Trooper Joshua Kelly.

He said DPS was notified at 1 p.m. The blue 2008 Nissan Titan pickup rolled numerous times before coming to a rest on its roof, he said. Kelly said he does not yet know why the vehicle left the road.

A hospital official said Valdez was in fair condition.
