Fashion tips with Haili Z: Peter Pilotto, Target a well-designed match

My favorites from the collection would definitely have to be the pairing of the red floral print blouse  with the red floral and check print skirt.

I first saw the label when Kristen Stewart walked out in a pre-spring 2013 Peter Pilotto dress on Jay Leno. She was promoting the final movie of the "The Twilight Saga."

I immediately had to know the designer, and Pilotto was an instant favorite in my book. The pattern, the color and the structure of that one dress won me over. The duo behind the label? Pilotto and Christopher De Vos.

The designs are lovely, and you'll see exactly why I am sitting on the edge of my seat until the release of this fabulous collaboration.

The Peter Pilotto brand is full of color but is structured at the same time. It gives a new twist to work apparel and also keeps it professional by adding a bit of fun to your wardrobe at the same time, which is exactly why I love it.

The Peter Pilotto vision embraces both new and classic perspectives on elegance. Otherworldly prints combined with sculptural silhouettes is one of the many hallmarks of the brand.

Pilotto already has a loyal celebrity following including Selena Gomez, Stewart, Elizabeth Banks and Miranda Kerr.

The designs are full of life, and with the collaboration of the new Target collection, it does not lose quality, structure or any of the prints - it's all there.

I am completely beside myself for this collaboration and the cost of the apparel that still looks like a million bucks.

"Our brand is about print, yes, but it's also about the emotional feeling you can get from color and color combinations," Pilotto said in a Target news release.

My favorites would definitely have to be the pairing of the red floral print blouse with the red floral and check print skirt - all under $40. This is the perfect and affordable look for work and dinner. The fun prints keep things interesting, and the structure makes it perfect for professional settings.

A must-have from the collection is all of the dresses. They are easy to dress in every season and will get the most wear.

For summer, the bikini crop top - which is not a bikini - is perfect for the summer in wearing over your bathing suit, pairing with jeans or a high-waisted shirt, as shown in the Peter Pilotto for Target campaign paired with the light blue floral and check print skirt.

No love for prints in your wardrobe? Save it for your handbags and totes. The accessories in this collection are the best to pair with solids.
