Wrecked

VICTORIA - A driver and passenger of a 2005 gray Toyota Sienna were taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro on Tuesday after being struck by a motorist who failed to control his speed in the 7900 block of North Navarro Street, causing a four-vehicle crash.

Arrested

VICTORIA - Christopher Collinsworth, 30, of Cuero, by officers Tuesday on a Nueces County warrant charging him with theft of property between $500 and $1,500.

VICTORIA - Damon Adam Garamillo, 29, of Victoria, by officers Tuesday on two warrants charging him with bail jumping, bond forfeiture for a possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana charge and on suspicion of evading arrest, detention.

VICTORIA - A 23-year-old Victoria woman by officers Tuesday on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury to a family member.

VICTORIA - Reginald Terrell Harris, 43, of Victoria, by deputies Tuesday on a Lavaca County warrant charging him with burglary of building.

VICTORIA - Amy Lynn Hudson, 46, of Victoria, by deputies Tuesday on a DeWitt County warrant charging her with violation of probation in a possession of a controlled substance case.

VICTORIA - A 28-year-old Victoria man by officers Tuesday on suspicion of obstruction or retaliation.

VICTORIA - A 65-year-old Victoria man by officers Tuesday on suspicion of tampering or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair.

VICTORIA - A 20-year-old Victoria woman by officers Tuesday on suspicion of theft of property between $50 and $500.

VICTORIA - A 23-year-old Bloomington man by officers Tuesday on suspicion of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

VICTORIA - A 57-year-old Victoria man by officers Tuesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated with three or more prior convictions.

VICTORIA - A 48-year-old Victoria woman by officers Tuesday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

VICTORIA - Samuel Vela, 35, of Alice, by U.S. Marshals on Jim Wells County warrants charging him with deadly conduct, discharging a firearm and prohibited weapon in a weapons-free zone and on a Goliad County warrant charging him with violation of probation in a bail-jumping case.

VICTORIA - Christina Marie Flores, 30, of Victoria, by officers Tuesday on warrants charging her with theft of property between $50 and $500, theft of property more than $1,500 with two or more prior convictions and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.

VICTORIA - A 56-year-old Victoria man by officers Wednesday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

VICTORIA - A 38-year-old Victoria man by officers Wednesday on suspicion of fleeing an officer and possession of a controlled substance.

Assaulted

VICTORIA - A 21-year-old Victoria woman with a deadly weapon at a home in the 1500 block of Park Avenue on Monday.

Burglarized

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 1800 block of Nimitz Street on Monday. Golf clubs, a wallet and miscellaneous content valued at $348 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 400 block of Salisbury Lane on Sunday. A double yellow head parrot valued at $1,000 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 3500 block of Cedar Street on Wednesday. A double-barrel 12-gauge shotgun, shoes and three televisions valued at $1,900 were reported missing.

Stolen

VICTORIA - Two checks valued at $119.05 and $123.29 were forged. The incident was reported at a department store in the 2100 block of North Laurent Street on Saturday.

VICTORIA - A bluetooth speaker device valued at $24.99 from Hastings in the 5200 block of North Navarro Street on Monday.

VICTORIA - A DVD player and a 12-feet extension cord valued at $32 from a home in the 1100 block of Loma Vista Avenue on Monday.

VICTORIA - A gold tiger pendant and a 24-inch gold necklace valued at $4,800 from a home in the 4400 block of North Navarro Street on Monday.

VICTORIA - Cash totaling $500 from a home in the 1700 block of Victoria Station Drive on Saturday.

VICTORIA - A wallet valued at $14.98 from Sears department store in the 7800 block of North Navarro Street on Monday.

VICTORIA - General merchandise valued at $259.30 from Wal-Mart in the 9000 block of North Navarro Street on Tuesday.

Damaged

VICTORIA - A vehicle parked at a home in the 4900 block of Dahlia Lane on Friday. Damage to the front and rear driver's side doors, passenger side mirror and side chrome trim was estimated at $3,200.

VICTORIA - The car windows of a vehicle parked at a home in the 600 block of Avenue D on Thursday. Damage was estimated at $105.

VICTORIA - The rear window of a car parked at a home in the 4900 block of Elk Drive on Friday. Damage was estimated at $400.

VICTORIA - The front left tire of a car at a parking lot in the 2000 block of Sam Houston Drive on Friday. Damage was estimated at $198.

VICTORIA - A Nokia cellphone at a home in the 900 block of East San Antonio Street on Saturday.

VICTORIA - Men's clothing at a home in the 700 block of East South Street on Sunday. Damage was estimated at $220.

VICTORIA - A glass window at a home in the 2300 block of Anaqua Avenue on Sunday. Damage was estimated at $200.

VICTORIA - The back windshield of a car in the 1400 block of East Colorado Street on Sunday. Damage was estimated at $200.

VICTORIA - Landscaping at Resurrection Cemetery in the 1000 block of East Mockingbird Lane on Friday. Damage was estimated at $125.

VICTORIA - A window of a home in the 1500 block of Bowie Drive on Monday. Damage was estimated at $70.

VICTORIA - The tailgate of a Dodge 1500 at a parking lot in the 200 block of Timberlane Drive on Monday. Damage was estimated at $300.

VICTORIA - A 60-inch LG smart television at a home in the 5200 block of North John Stockbauer Drive on Tuesday. According to the report, the television did not seem to be damaged by the person who was throwing eggs throughout the apartment complex.

VICTORIA - The Colony Creek Country Club golf course in the 300 block of Colony Creek Drive on Monday. Damage was estimated at $6,000.

VICTORIA - The front door of Eddie Drilling Co., in the 2600 block of East Rio Grande Street on Wednesday. Damage was estimated at $400.

Indicted

Lavaca County

HALLETTSVILLE - A Lavaca County grand jury recently indicted these people.

William Robert Fowlkes, 37, of Schulenburg, on a charge of sexual assault of a child, aggravated assault family violence with a deadly weapon and assault bodily injury family violence by impeding breath charges.

Marvin Franke Machart, 77, of Hallettsville, on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity charges.

Victoria County

VICTORIA - A grand jury returned indictments on the following people on June 26:

Juan Rayl Moreno, 22, of Victoria, on two counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams of cocaine on Jan. 28 and April 8.

Michael Anthony Ortega, 29, of Victoria, on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 2 and 400 grams of ecstasy on May 23.

Allen Phillip Smiga, 58, of Telferner, on a charge of driving while intoxicated third or more offense on April 2. He was convicted of driving while intoxicated in Victoria County in 1987 and again in 1995.

Robert Dewaine Barrera, 36, of Hallettsville, on a charge of driving while intoxicated third or more offense on Jan. 17. He was convicted of driving while intoxicated in Lavaca County in 2008 and 2009.

Boyd James Deters Jr., 48, of Victoria, on a charge of driving while intoxicated third or more offense on Jan. 29. He was convicted of driving while intoxicated in Caldwell County in 1989 and in Victoria County in 2001.

Cody James Robles, 23, of Victoria, on two counts of burglary of a habitation. He is charged with burglarizing a woman's home on Nov. 28 and attempting to assault her and a man.

Sergio F. Perez, 20, of Cuero, on a charge of injury to a child with intent to cause bodily injury. He is charged with biting a child younger than 14 on April 6.

Amanda Marie Schroeder, 31, of Nursery, on a charge of forgery of a financial instrument. She is charged with writing a fraudulent check for $120 on Nov. 22.

Jeremy Levi Johnson, 24, of Victoria, on four counts of burglary of a building. He is charged with burglarizing Llantas El 8, 210 E. Rio Grande St., and stealing money on June 28, 2012; July 5, 2012; and July 11, 2012. He is also charged with burglarizing Taqueria El Rodeo II, 3402 Sam Houston Drive, and stealing money on July 31, 2012.

Mandy Renee Allen, 17, of Victoria, on a charge of tampering with physical evidence with the intent to impair. She is charged with concealing a plastic bag containing marijuana during a traffic stop on Jan. 7.

Jose Felicito Garcia, 32, of Victoria, on a charge of tampering or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair. He is charged with destroying or concealing marijuana during a detention for traffic violations and a possession of marijuana investigation on Jan. 13.

Allen Michael Battles, 23, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams of cocaine on April 2.

Ashley Chavez, 20, of Victoria, on a charge of having a prohibited substance in a correctional center. She is charged with possessing marijuana in the Victoria County Jail on Jan. 13.

Ernest Andres Macias, 24, of Victoria, on a charge of evading arrest or detention with a previous conviction. He is charged with fleeing from a peace officer who was trying to detain him on April 27. He was convicted of evading arrest or detention in Victoria County in 2012.

Roger Anthony Martinez, 35, of Telferner, on charges of having a prohibited substance in a correctional center and possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram. He is charged with possessing less than 1 gram of cocaine in the Victoria County Jail on Jan. 5.

Sonia Moraida, 35, of Victoria, on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams, cocaine, on March 21.

Teresa Lynne Hunt, 31, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams, cocaine, on March 31.

John Reihs, 49, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram, methamphetamine, on April 10.

Alfred James Quinonez, 20, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams, cocaine, on Dec. 12.

Travis Monroe Whitehead, 34, of Victoria, on a charge of violating a bond or protective order two or more times within 12 months. He is charged with violating a condition of a bond Judge Robert Whitaker set by communicating with two protected people in a family violence case between March 20-22.

Clyde Brian Williams, 57, of Victoria, on a charge of deadly conduct, discharge of a firearm. He is charged with shooting a gun in the direction of five people on Jan. 5.

Leticia Kamp, 53, of Victoria, on a charge of injury to a child with intent to cause bodily injury. She is charged with shoving a child's head into a bus window on Dec. 4. The child was younger than 14.

Jose Ramon Pena, 41, of Victoria, on two counts of sexual assault of a child, two counts of indecency with a child by exposure and two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact. The incidents occurred beginning in July 2012 and ended in July 2013. He was arrested on the charges on Tuesday.
