Victoria College has hired four new staff members this summer. The new employees are: Janet Charbula, a research technician with the Institutional Effectiveness, Research and Assessment Office; Erin Gabrysch, a math tutor who works in the VC Tutoring Center; Sarah Saleh, an administrative assistant with advising and counseling services; and Lillie Sustaita, a custodian responsible for cleaning the Fine Arts Building and the Museum of the Coastal Bend, both on VC's main campus.
Marlies Sanders is the June Employee of the Month for Regency Post-Acute Healthcare System. Sanders is a cost report supervisor and has worked with Regency for 15 years. She graduated from Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting.
Tara Korry was awarded K&L Consulting's Employee of the Month for June. Korry is an assessment consultant for K and L and has worked for the company for 13 years. She attended Lamar University, where she earned her vocational nurse license.
Loralinda Cruz recently began work as an international student specialist in the University of Houston-Victoria's Office of Admissions. She assists international students with the admission process. Cruz previously served as a graduate adviser at Odessa College and worked at Aloe Elementary School in Victoria.
Heaven Warner recently joined the staff as the director of services. She manages the school's budget, conducts special projects for the dean, is the liaison with other university offices and works on accreditation materials and other business operations.
Warner previously taught accounting at Lamar State College in Port Arthur. In 2013, she earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from UHV.
