Woman should be thanking US taxpayers

A recent letter writer receiving medical care under the Affordable Care Act wanted to thank President Obama for all the benefits and "freebies" being provided to her.
I truly hope her health has improved. But she needs to get acquainted with the fact that nothing is ever free. Someone pays for it.
We truly do need adequate health care, but not the government welfare program called "Obamacare." The "free" she is receiving is because of the increased costs and decreased services other people, including myself, are experiencing.
It would be more appropriate for her to thank the millions of U.S. working taxpayers, who through their diligence and hard work, are paying for these benefits rather than praising a president only interested in his legacy. We the people - not the president - are paying for her freebies.
By the way, we would all be better off if the country, not the Democrat or Republican Party, was the priority for our lawmakers.
