• YOAKUM - Contents on the back of a flatbed truck caught fire and sparked a grass fire 2 miles south of the intersection of U.S. Highway 77 and state Highway 111. No injuries were reported.
VICTORIA - A Kindle Fire and brown case from the 7800 block of North Navarro Street on Thursday.• VICTORIA - Merchandise from a Stripes in the 2000 block of North Navarro Street on Monday.
• VICTORIA - Chlorine tablets from a Wal-Mart in the 4100 block of Houston Highway on Wednesday. The merchandise was recovered.
• VICTORIA - A 1998 Dodge Durango from a home in the 2700 block of Nightingale Street on July 19.
VICTORIA - Shaun Michael Milam, 23, of Victoria, to five years probation and 80 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty Wednesday to assault bodily injury to a family or household member two or more times within 12 months.
VICTORIA - Edward Fraustio, 49, of Victoria, to two years in prison after he pleaded guilty Wednesday to burglary of a building. He has 170 days of jail credit, and he was also ordered to pay $1,400 in restitution.
VICTORIA - Lindsey Dawn Chavis, 29, of Victoria, to two years in state jail after her probation was revoked Wednesday in a September 2011 possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram case. She has 410 days of jail credit.
VICTORIA - Lamar Steven Williams, 23, of Victoria, to two years in state jail after his probation was revoked Thursday in an August 2012 evading arrest or detention with a previous conviction case. He has 424 days of jail credit.

HALLETTSVILLE - A Lavaca County grand jury returned indictments on the following people July 25:
Derrick Flowers, 44, of Hallettsville, on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Marcial Fonseca-Valenzuela, 41, of Mesquite, on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.
Solio Alvarez Fonseca, 28, of Mesquite, on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.
Misty Dawn King, 38, of Hallettsville, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram.
Russell Allen Migl, 29, of Sweet Home, on a charge of evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.
Jeremy Leon Ornelas, 38, of Yoakum, on a charge of hindering apprehension or prosecution.
Israel Urias-Lopez, 29, of Mesquite, on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.
