Volunteers needs for Hope Child Advocacy Center

Hope Child Advocacy Center is seeking to add community members to its volunteer program. Individuals are needed to assist fundraising efforts.
The Hope Child Advocacy Center is in the beginning stages of organizing Ruth's Guild of Hope to assist the organization in fundraising to keep the programs of Hope Child Advocacy Center operating and serving child victims of sexual and physical abuse.
The mission of Hope Child Advocacy Center is to reduce the trauma of child abuse by assisting in investigation, assessment, prosecution and ongoing treatment. The center serves children between the ages of newborn to 18 who have been referred by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and/or local law enforcement agencies.
During the past year, Hope Child Advocacy Center has served more than 250 children who have made outcries or are at risk of sexual and physical abuse.
Services offered by the center include forensic interviews, family advocacy and therapy.
